Backup System Questions

Is this the backup inside RepoSTD?

No. RepoSTD has its own company backup and restore in Back Office (that company’s books). The Backup System is a separate program for scheduled, encrypted, monitored backups. You can use RepoSTD without this product.

When will the Backup System be available?

The Backup System is currently in development. Register your interest to be notified at launch.

Do I need internet for backups?

No. Local backups to an external drive or NAS work fully offline. Offsite copy is optional if you have internet available.

Will it back up my Silica Payroll database?

Yes. The Backup System is designed to work with SQL Server Express databases used by Silica Office products, including Silica Payroll (database name PayrollSystem).
